of blackwood chairs to complement the table of your
choice. Below is just a small sampling of what styles are available. We
do not however, wish to limit our creativity by our
imaginations alone and look forward to designing new pieces with your ideas

of the square we specialise in small and large slab tables. These can
be in either blackwood or redgum. Purchase one of these tables and you

The coffee table on the left is made from one large blackwood slab. The whitish edge wood contrasts superbly with the darker core wood. Each piece of wood is different, each has its own patterns. No two tables can ever be the same. The dining table on the right seats 8 people. It was made from a twisted tree and the two top slabs create a bookend effect. The middle of the table is inlaid with a dark glass. |

New to the Otway Blackwood Collection is the Acacia traditional series. The Acacia traditional comes with three optional back rests. Two styles are also available: sharp, square contemporary edges or soft edges. |

The Acacia collection also comes in a curved back series. This series comes with a choice of two back rests; four vertical slats or a full horizontal back rest. The design also allows a square edged or a rounded edge top. |

The Carlisle collection is our original design. Proven to withstand the test of time, this chair remains one of the most popular. The Carlisle comes with an option of a high or low back rest. |

Strong, sharp, square edges. Modern, contemporary design. Here at Karacsay Furnishings we don't simply work with blackwood. This table has been made from fiddleback ash. Fiddleback occurs as a result of an abnormality in the growth of the mountain ash tree which is native to the Otway Ranges. The end result creates this stunning tiger striped effect. Fiddle back ash is very rare - much sought after and a highly prized furniture timber. Limited stock available. The table pictured seats 8. We can of course custom make to your specifications. |

This fiddleback Ash table and chairs setting is something which never can be replicated. Stocks of fiddle back Ash are extremely low and the probability of acquiring more is not high. Strong tiger stripes of fiddleback Ash are this settings hallmark. |
